Explore the wealth of Death Valley National Park

The Death Valley National Park happens to be a desert of streaming sand dunes, snow capped mountains and rock layers which are multi colored. There are water fluted canyon and wilderness spaces which span across three million acres. This place serves as home to the Timbisha Shoshone people. The desert here is quite harsh although there are many plants, animals and other such life that is quite unique to only this place.

It would be an awesome idea to experience the magic and adventure of Death Valley National Park by joining something that looks like a ranger guided program or even a tour for that matter. The historical mining sites, and the canyons which are shadow have many sun drenched salt flats as well. It would be a good idea to discover desert wildlife which is hidden here. There are many ephemeral fields of wildflowers which happen to have a awesome guided tour in the Death Valley National Park. \

Scotty’s Castles tours are also of great significance and all year round you will find many walks and talks that are based right out of furnace creek. The visitor center which is presented here from November till April is just a brief of the many awesome things that happens in this wild place.

During the main visitor season which is between April and November, you can avail of many walks and talks. There are programs which scheduled to change almost every week. There are more additional programs which are presented at many other times.

There is also a lower Vine ranch tour which tells us the Scotty actually lived in the Lower Vine Ranch and he did not always live in Scotty’s castle.

The lower vine is closed to the public. And then there are ranger led winter tours which are on select dates.

When you come to the Telescopic peak in the Death valley, as it was named in the year eighteen hundred and sixty one, by Dr. Samuel. If you can , then you should go ahead and climb the eleven thousand feet, peak from which you can see so far , it would make you feel as though you were looking through the eye of a telescope.
